Monday, 8/31 – We will finish up introduction speeches. Also, you will receive weekly vocabulary words and the accompanying assignment (due 9/2).
Tuesday, 9/1 – We will begin setting up our writing workshop. Please remember to bring in the spiral or other form of journal to be left in the classroom.
Wednesday, 9/2 – Vocabulary assignment #1 due. Introduce “The Lie.” Read the short story by Friday, 9/5.
Thursday, 9/3 – Writing Workshop – expectations and guidelines.
Friday, 9/4 – Vocabulary quiz #1. Class discussion of “The Lie.”
